-
Prospective applicant contacts NINDS/OCR to discuss the proposed trial concept proposal
(email StrokeNetInquiry@mail.nih.gov).
-
NINDS program staff will discuss the proposed project proposal and determine its fit
with NINDS mission and priorities.
-
Projects that have good NINDS support are referred to one of the three StrokeNet
working groups (Prevention, Treatment, or Recovery) for further refinement of the
concept proposal and eventual assessment of feasibility.
-
Prospective applicants whose projects have support from NINDS program staff and are
judged to be feasible for network performance must submit a formal application in
response to one of the StrokeNet FOAs for peer review and subsequent consideration
by the NINDS Advisory Council.
We look forward to partnering with our colleagues in other NIH-funded networks, stroke networks in other countries, national organizations focused on stroke, industry, and most of all patients who have suffered a stroke, so we can decrease the burden of this devastating disease. We appreciate your interest and welcome your participation. Welcome to StrokeNet!.
